Our History

Marc F. Burr is a 6th generation Funeral Director born and raised in Chardon. He knew from an early age that he wanted to spend his life serving those in his community at their time of greatest need. Growing up working in his family's business, he witnessed firsthand the importance of a local, family-owned and operated funeral home. He spent over 13 years serving the families of Geauga County with compassion and professionalism when they needed him the most. He learned many valuable lessons, which have led him to where he is today. Marc knows that FAMILY matters: his and yours. Family is the cornerstone of what makes the community he serves so wonderful. Marc and his wife, Ashley, live in the community full time. They have chosen to live and raise their family here. Marc is focused on providing a family-centric and community-based funeral service. The relationships he's created with so many of you in the community are something to be cherished. He looks forward to serving each and every family for many years to come.
