William “ PAT” Higgins 71 of Madison went peacefully to the lord with his wife at his side on October 10, 2017. Mr. Higgins was born in Cleveland on May 30, 1946. He was a member of Immaculate Conception in Madison. Pat retired in 2006 from Ricerca Corporation in Concord where he was a LAB TECHNICIAN. Survivors are his wife of 43 years Carolee Cerney Higgins, His children Christine (Darren) Spayde and son Michael (Jan) Higgins. He also leaves 4 grandchildren Douglas, Adam and Allison Spayde and Paige Higgins. His Brother James Higgins also survives as well as his family of rescue cats Gretchen, Frances, Cindy and Fred. Pat was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. He died of Parkinsons Disease due to exposure to Agent Orange. Donations may be made in his memory to the family or to Holy Cat Whiskers in Madison. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church in Madison. Burial will be in North Madison Cemetery. Calling Hours are on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Potti Funeral Home 2726 Hubbard Road in Madison.
