Virginia P. Thomas, age 75 passed away at her home in Wickliffe, Wednesday, June 11, 2014. She was born Virginia Pauline Canterbury on December 5, 1938, in Dingess, West Virginia. She was a member of the East Heisley Church of God in Mentor. Virginia was a Machine Operator for Nu Way Stamping in Willoughby and she had also worked At Glastic Corporation in South Euclid. She loved spending time with her family and adored her Grandchildren. She is survived by Daughter Tammy Lesler of Wickliffe, Grandchildren Brandon Lesler of Painesville, Amber (Zach) Look of Eastlake, Tasha Miller of East Palestine, Katrina Miller of Painesville, Great Grandchildren: Kaley Harrold -Lesler and Caleb Miller. Sister Ethel Chapman of Peebles, Ohio, Brothers, Harold Canterbury of Wickliffe, Rev. Tennis Canterbury of Lenore, West Virginia, Charles Canterbury of Wickliffe. Sister -in-Law Janice Canterbury of Wickliffe. And former Husband Rev. Boyd Thomas. A Special Thanks to her Nephew Johnny E. Canterbury For helping with his Aunt Virginia. She was preceded in death by first Husband Daniel Lesler, Daughter Sharon Kimble, Brothers, Gary, William, and Emory Canterbury, Sisters: Betty Francis Dennis and Gladys King. Parents, Marion and Geneva (Vance) Canterbury. Friends may call 4-8 PM Friday at the Potti Funeral Home 1009 Mentor Ave. Painesville, Funeral Services will be at 10:30 am Saturday June 14, 2014 At the East Heisley Church of God 5544 East Heisley Rd. Mentor, Ohio 44060. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
