Ruth E. Spriggs

Ruth E. Spriggs, age 79 passed away October 16, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. Born January 19, 1941 in Mount Lake Park, MD to Garland Leon and Almeda Ellen (nee: Howell) Barnard, she had been a longtime area resident. She was a home health aide with Around the Clock and a member of the East Heisley Church of God. Survivors include her daughters Candy Hannah of Georgia, Brenda Daniels of Ashtabula; sons: Donald (Tracy) Spriggs of Rock Creek, Rocky A. Spriggs of Madison, John J. (Dawn) Spriggs of Madison and Shane (Anna) Spriggs of Mentor; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and sister Debbie (Phil) Putka of Eastlake. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter Julie A. Sullivan. Friends may call from 1-3pm on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020 at East Heisley Church of God 5544 East Heisley Road, Mentor, OH 44060 with a memorial service following at 3pm at the church. Face masks and social distancing must be maintained.
