Richard Cary passed away on September 26, 2026, in Uniontown, Ohio. He was born on October 31, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Richard will be remembered with love by those who knew him. He is survived by his brother, Kevin Cary, who carries forward his memory with affection and sorrow.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Zanowick, and by his father, Richard F. Cary. May the memory of their lives together bring comfort to those who mourn him now.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on September 30, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Prentice Funeral Home Inc, 1154 Kenmore Blvd, Akron, Ohio 44314. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Prentice Funeral Home Inc. A private burial will be held at Knollwood Cemetery where Richard will be laid to rest with his parents.
