R. Larry Posey

R. Larry Posey age 66, of Madison, passed away April 3, 2014 at Lake West Hospital after a brief illness. Born October 24, 1947 in Buckhannon, West Virginia to the late Mabel and Walter Posey. He had been a Madison resident for the past 29 years. Larry was a machinist for Sass Rubber and Chardon Rubber retiring in 2009. He was a great mechanic and was a Jack of all Trades. He enjoyed gardening, sports and loved Rock Music and being outdoors. He was loved by all and will be truly missed. He was the loving husband of 29 years to Diana (Hanft) Posey, daughters: Jeannie (David) Hein of Clarksburg, West Virginia, Shelia (Rob) Morgan of Madison, Son: Adam Posey of Madison, Step Daughters: Christine (Tyler) Winkle of Barton, Illinois, Debra (Jeff) Moss of Wentzville, Missouri, Stepson Robert (Maureen) Merchant of St. Louis, Missouri. 16 grandchildren sisters: Margaret Alderman of Weston, West Virginia, Barbara Fallen of Geneva, Brenda (Paul) Cummings of Buckhannon, West Virginia, Brothers: Jerry (Sherry) Posey of Painesville, Jim (Betty) Posey of Harpersfield, Half Brothers Johnny Watson and Jack Watson of Buckhannon West Virginia. Numerous Nieces and Nephews.Preceded in death by Brother Byrel Posey, sisters Wanda Skidmore, Rosemary Sharp and Vera Posey. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday April 8, 2014 at the Potti Funeral Home 2726 Hubbard Rd. Madison. Visitation will be held Tuesday prior to the funeral 11:00 am till time of Service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Madison Memorial Cemetery in Madison
