Norman Douglas Zepp, a lifelong resident of Chardon, Ohio, passed away on February 16, 2026, in Montville, Ohio, at the age of 87. Born on December 13, 1938, Norman lived a life dedicated to family, hard work, and service to his country.
Norman was a graduate of Chardon High School, where he laid the foundation for a life characterized by diligence and commitment. After completing his education, he devoted his time to the family farm, working tirelessly throughout his entire life. His connection to the land and agriculture was a defining aspect of his identity, shaping both his character and values.
In addition to his agricultural pursuits, Norman proudly served his country in the United States Army and later in the US Army Reserves. His military service was a testament to his dedication to the principles he held dear and his desire to contribute to the greater good.
Norman shared his life with his beloved spouse, Jamie (nee: Vlachovsky) Zepp. Together, they created a loving home filled with warmth and support. He is also survived by his dear sisters, Polly J. Cole and Gretchen Rand, who have cherished their memories of him throughout the years.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Norman and Elnora (nee: Spencer) Zepp, whose guidance and support shaped him into the man he became. Norman Douglas Zepp will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to family, his hard work on the farm, and his honorable service in the military. His legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him and loved him.
