Marie J. Rusnak

Marie J. Rusnak, age 91, of Painesville Twp. passed away on Jan. 26, 2025, at her daughter’s home in York, SC. Born July 31, 1933, in Mentor to Martin and Katherine (nee: Schuster) Schuster; she had been a longtime area resident. Survivors include her children Diane M. (Steve) Campbell of Shinnston WV, John D. (Linda) Rusnak of Painesville, and Katherine F. (Jim) Cable of York, SC; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Marie was preceded in death by her parents Martin and Katherine Schuster, husband John Rusnak and son Daniel Rusnak. She had many interests… she was very passionate about her flowers.....tropicals being among her favorites…bird watching was also one of the things that Marie took great pleasure in doing…she also loved to sing and was active in her church's choir. She was loved dearly by her family and those that knew her. Being a private person, Marie requested that there be no public memorial or graveside service.
