Lynn J. Joiner " Babe" age 81, of Geneva passed away Tuesday September 15, 2015 at his home Surrounded by his loving family. Born May 26, 1934 in Painesville, he was the son of Marjorie and William Lynn Joiner. He was a self- employed farmers for many years and was in Boy Scouts For 8 years and became an Eagle Scout in 1952, was a 1953 graduate of Madison High School, And was in 4-H for 7 years. He was a Veteran of the United States Army for 2 years and 4 years in the Reserves and Combat Engineers. He was a member of the First Baptist Church for 53Years 1948-2001 and a member of Geneva Nazarene Church 2001 till now and the NRA. Babe was raised on a farm and enjoyed farming, fishing, and hunting. He gave 14 gallons of blood to the Red Cross, nd liked to travel to the West, Canada and Alaska. Survivors are his loving wife Dora (Beseda) whom he married in 1994. Children Karyn Hobson, Paula Paden, Roger Joiner, Sharon Joiner Kibber,14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Step Sons Keith and Daniel Beseda, Brothers Hal ford and Richard Joiner. Preceded in death by his parents and son Norman. Aunt Irene Cooke, cousins Herb McNutt and Bill and Art Lunhow Funeral Services will be held at Noon Thursday September 17, 2015 at the Geneva Nazarene Church 710 Centennial Street Geneva, Ohio 44041 Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Madison Memorial Cemetery on Arcola Rd. The family would like to thank all the wonderful people from Western Reserve Hospice. In lieu of flowers Donations may be made to the church. Arrangements are being handled by Potti Funeral Home of Madison.
