Lauren Ann Perry

Lauren Ann Perry, age 29 of Mentor passed away on December 31, 2023. Born June 21, 1994, in Euclid Ohio to Ann F. Perry; she had been a longtime Mentor resident and recently resided in Chardon. She is survived by her mother Ann and stepfather Thomas Srpan of Mentor, siblings Nycole DeFranco of Willowick, Brian Thompson of Willowick, and Steven Dohm of Mentor, her niece, Amelia Thompson, and her aunt and uncle Diane and Paul Domanovics. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Frank Dohm and Constance Raymond and uncle, Steven Dohm.
Lauren grew up in Mentor where she attended Mentor High School. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was a devoted aunt and had tremendous love for her beloved cats, Zeke and Lily. Lauren’s contagious laugh and generous spirit touched everyone she met. She would do anything for a laugh and anyone that truly knew her knew she had such a big heart. She was active in AA meetings and had obtained over 1 year of sobriety which she was very proud of. She really focused on her sobriety and helping and encouraging others. Lauren had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024, at 2:30pm at the Potti & Marc F. Burr Funeral Homes, 1009 Mentor Ave. Painesville, OH 44077. A memorial gathering will be from 12-2:30pm on Saturday at the funeral home. A private family burial was held at Mentor Cemetery. Services entrusted to the Potti & Marc F.
