It is with profound sadness that the family of John E. Stadtler announce his passing on April 2, 2024 in Wickliffe, Ohio. John was born August 11, 1989 in Euclid, Ohio, the son of Michael and Maria (Varr) Stadtler. John graduated from Mentor High School in 2007. His love for gaming and computer building inspired him to later earn a degree in Information Technology at Lakeland Community College.
John brought joy to those around him as he was known for his great sense of humor and ability to make anybody laugh. He enjoyed visiting waterparks and Cedar Point with his family. John had a love for music, and he attended many concerts over the years. None held a more special place in his heart than Elton John. In addition to his love for music and laughter, John was a compassionate soul with a deep affection for animals, particularly his beloved pets.
Remaining to cherish John’s memory are his mother to his children, Alanna; children, Alan and Johnny Stadtler; parents, Michael and Maria Stadtler; brother, David Stadtler (Ana Bell) and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. John especially loved being an uncle to his nephews and nieces; Vincent, Marlo, Madeline and Sofia. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
John is preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and June Sanyi; maternal grandparents, John and Genevieve (Terranova) Varr.
A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday April 10, 2024 from 4-6pm with a celebration of life service at 6pm at the Potti & Marc F. Burr Funeral Home, 1009 Mentor Ave. Painesville, OH 44077.
