Jodie M. Cahill

Jodie M. Cahill of Perry, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026, at home with her husband Glenn of forty years by her side. She was born on August 11, 1963, in Cleveland, Ohio, and will be remembered with deep love by all who knew her.

Jodie enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandson Emmett, watching Cavs basketball, and jamming to the band Shindown. She was a lifelong pharmacy technician who loved her job at Signature Health Central Fill with coworkers she adored.

Her passing leaves a lasting emptiness in the hearts of her family and friends who will carry her memory forward with gratitude, affection, and enduring love.

Along with her husband, she leaves behind her son, Ryan Cahill (Kelly); daughter, Colleen Bates (Joshua); and their son, Emmett Bates. Jodie is also lovingly remembered by her sisters, Pamela Tomcik (Dennis) and Patricia DeCara (Martin), along with her niece and nephew, Dominic and Samantha DeCara. She is further survived by her brother-in-law, Kenneth Cahill, and her sister-in-law, Karen Kuhn. Surrounded by such a close and caring family, Jodie’s love and presence will continue to be felt in the lives of those she cherished most.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Richard and Elizabeth Ruscsak.

May Jodie rest in peace, and may her family find comfort in the love she gave so freely and in the memories that will remain forever in their hearts.
