JoAnn M. Pollock, age 82, of Madison entered into eternal peace on January 17, 2017 At her home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on a beautiful day in May 30, 1934 In Painesville to Henry and Anna (Sessler) Anderson. She went to school and graduated from Painesville Township Riverside High School. She worked at Ohio Bell for a short period of time After she married James S. Pollock. They began their family, resulting in the birth of 10 wonderful children. JoAnn spent the last 64 years raising and caring for her children and grandchildren which she enjoyed. She pursued a Nursing degree and started her nursing center in 1986, at N.E.O. Hospital. Her Nursing career lasted until she was 79 A½ years old, her last employer was the Wade Park VA, in Cleveland. JoAnn enjoyed living on the farm, where she loved and raised her children. She liked Gardening and always seem to have a special bond with animals raised on the farm. She cherished the company of her friends, Congregational Church members, and family. She is survived by her Children, Laurence (Sandy) Pollock, Claudia (Gary) Walters, Nikea (Carl) Gunther, Logan (Darlene) Pollock, JoAnn (Tom) Galica, Kathy Gulyas, James Pollock, Jonathan (Eva) Pollock, Celeste Pollock and Philip (Cheryl) Pollock; 13 grandchildren, 9 great- grandchildren and 1 great great great grandchild, Sister Margaret Hiller and many caring and thoughtful Nieces and Nephews. She is preceded in death by her Husband James, Parents, Sisters, Sylvia Slough, Berniece Anderson, Betty Rann, and Anna Johnson, Brothers Thayer and Henry Anderson and her beloved Son-in-Law Julius Gulyas. Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Thursday January 19, 2016 At Perry Cemetery followed by a fellowship luncheon at her Church. Pastor Richard Hughes from the Central Congregational Church will officiate the Service. Contributions may be made to the Central Congregational Church, General Building Fund, At 71 Park Street Madison, Ohio 44057 or to the University Hospital Hospice 4510 Richmond Rd. Warrensville Hts, Oh. 44120. The Potti Funeral Home 2726 Hubbard Rd. Madison, Ohio Are handling the arrangements.
