Jean Rose Palma, age 71, passed away Wednesday June 25, 2014 at her home in Madison. She was a resident of Madison since 1977 coming from Brooklyn, New York. She was born on October 14, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York. Jean worked at Inn Madison as a nurses aid and for Mag-Nif. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and the Italian Club in Madison. Jean enjoyed crocheting, sewing, shopping and collecting dolls. Survivors include her children, Tina L. Palma of Madison, Salvatore (Melissa) Palma Jr. of Geneva, and Eugene (Jennifer) Palma of Saybrook; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and brother, John Malan. She was preceded in death by her husband Salvatore Palma Sr.; and parents, Ann and Agapito Malan. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday June 27, 2014 at the Potti Funeral Home, 2726 Hubbard Rd., Madison. Visitation will be held 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
