Helen L. Kasari

Helen L. Kasari, age 96 of Fairport Harbor passed away May 8, 2013 at the Harbor Care in Fairport Harbor. She was born Oct. 11, 1916 in Fairport Harbor She was a Grade School Teacher at McKinley Elementary School in Fairport Harbor. Helen was a lifelong member of the Zion Lutheran Church, a Historian of the Fairport Harbor Historical Society, and a member of the Finnish Heritage Musuem. Helen was very proud of her Finnish Heritage. She is survived by her sister Mildred Zucker of Oakridge, Tenn. and a host of Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband Vernie. Visitation will be held Friday 5-7 PM at the Potti Funeral Home 538 Fifth St. Fairport 11 :00Am Funeral Saturday at the Zion Lutheran Church 508 Eagle Street with visitation 1 Hour prior to the Service Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
