Frank G. Busam, age 84, of Perry met his Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 3, 2017. Mr. Busam was born in Grosse Point Farms, Michigan on August 4, 1933 to Dorothea and Maurice Busam. Mr. Busam was an active member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Painesville where he served as an elder; he was also a long time member of the Fairport Harbor Yacht Club, and was an avid Sailor winning many races with his beloved wife Ellie on their sailboat “Stinger”, also loved gardening and retired in 1998 from PARCO Corp in Ontario, California where he was a Sales Engineer. Mr. Busam was a United States Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was an engineer aboard the destroyer Silverstein. Frank and Ellie organized many reunions for veterans that served on the Silverstein. Frank was the proud Father of Daughters Laurie (Terry) Pascoe, Nancy (Albert) Pacosky and Son Gregory (Silvina) Busam and his beloved niece Mary Jo Preslar (Norm). He also leaves seven Grandchildren Heather Pascoe (Phil Fienhold), Sean Pascoe, Alex (Stephanie) Pacosky, Rachel (Chris) Bock, Cristina (Anthony) Cognati, Monica Busam (Dan Volk), and Gregory Busam Jr. Loving great grandfather to Dakota Rae Pascoe, Payton Baylee Pascoe, Ethan Michael Pascoe, and Kaitlyn Eleanor Bock. Mr. Busam is preceded in death by his loving wife Eleanor J. Busam July 25, 2017 and his 3 brothers (Maurice, Roger, and Ronald). He is survived by his brothers: Louis Busam, Jerry Busam and Douglas Busam. Memorial Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 508 Mentor Ave. Painesville on Friday December 15th at 11 am.Visitation will be held from 10:00 am at the church. A luncheon will follow the service. Burial will follow the Luncheon at Perry Cemetery. Donations can be made to Zion Lutheran Church in Painesville, Ohio.
