Danielle E. Blaha

Danielle E. Blaha, age 40 of Chardon, passed away suddenly August 19, 2022, at UH Geauga Hospital surrounded by family. Born Aug. 4, 1982, to Lawrence and Karen (nee: Williams) Blaha, she had been a lifelong area resident. Danielle was a graduate of Chardon High School Class of 2000 and enjoyed playing tennis and baseball while in high school. She graduated from the Univ. of Dayton where she enjoyed being part of the Rowing Team and did internships in Costa Rica and Ireland. She continued her education at Cincinnati School of Law where she earned her law degree. She enjoyed painting and drawing, playing the piano, her vegetable garden, cooking and her cats, but her greatest joy was spending time with her friends and family. While in college, Danielle was a Eucharistic Minister and was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chardon. Survivors are her parents Lawrence and Karen Blaha of Chardon and many extended family and friends. Funeral Mass will be 10am Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2022, at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North Street, Chardon. A visitation will be from 9am to 10am at the church.
