Craig L. Haverlock, age 68 of Chardon, passed away unexpectedly March 22, 2023, at UH Geauga Hospital. Born March 11, 1955, to Bill and Mary Jane (nee: Taylor) Haverlock, he had been a longtime area resident. On June 24, 1989, Craig married Sharon Edmunds at Euclid Lutheran Church. Craig worked as an examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Craig was an avid cyclist, he biked across the country from Ocean Beach, California to Atlantic City, New Jersey with his brothers Todd and Lance, supported by Sharon and Mary Jane. Craig was an active participant at Euclid Lutheran Church and enjoyed reading, hiking, grilling, picnicking, and camping. He had a witty sense of humor, liked to collect quotes, and always had the perfect words of wisdom for any situation. He loved spending time and traveling with his family and helped his special needs son live life to the fullest. Craig was a kind, generous, and supportive son, brother, husband and father. He is survived by his wife Sharon of Chardon; children Carita (Ross) Vaske of Delaware, OH, Selena (Tyler Matthews) Haverlock of Walled Lake, MI & Micah Haverlock of Chardon; siblings Deborah Young of Albuquerque, NM, Marc (Eleanor) Haverlock of Portage MI, Todd (Miki) Haverlock of Albuquerque, NM & Lance (Heidi) Haverlock of Mentor. He was preceded in death by his parents. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Euclid Lutheran Church 431 E 260th St, Euclid, OH 44132.
