Clifford M. Fenner, age 64, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away at his home on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016. He was born in Ashtabula, Ohio, on Oct. 20, 1952. Clifford was an electrician working in construction and was a proud member of the IBEW #673 in Mentor. He was an avid golfer, playing in the Monday Christian League and loved bowling. Clifford was a member of Assumption Church in Geneva, where he sang in the choir and served as an eucharistic minister. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Survivors are his wife, Mary Ann; son, Matthew (Sarah) of Geneva; grandchildren, Jacob and Abigail; brothers, Curtis (Linda) of Geneva and Ron (Janet) of South Carolina; sister-in-law, Rose Fenner of Conneaut; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his son, Douglas; brother, Dan Fenner; and parents, Clifford E. and Elnora Fenner. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 13th, at Assumption Church in Geneva, with burial to follow in Edgewood Cemetery in Ashtabula. Calling Hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 12th, at POTTI FUNERAL HOME, 2726 Hubbard Road (RT 528), Madison.
