Charles Paul Andrew Zamŕzla

Charles Paul Andrew Zamŕzla, a beloved husband, father, stepfather, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, at his home in Concord Township. Born on August 19, 1948, in Mayfield, Charles was a dedicated project manager and plumber, devoting an impressive 25 years of his life to Active Plumbing before retiring as a Project Manager with Nagy Service Company. His work was not merely a career; it was a testament to his craftsmanship, integrity, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Charles served honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam conflict from 1965 to 1972. His experience in the military shaped his character, instilling in him strong values of duty, resilience, and compassion. He carried this sense of purpose throughout his life, contributing generously to his community, particularly through his involvement with Habitat for Humanity, member of the Lake County Corvette Club, his local church and coaching Madison Little League Baseball. He greatly enjoyed being outdoors, spending time in nature.

Beyond his professional and service commitments, Charles found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fan of NASCAR and football, always ready to cheer for his favorite teams. However, his greatest satisfaction came from spending quality time with his family. Charles was a devoted family man whose warmth and kindness captivated all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving spouse, Lesia (Mumau) Zamŕzla, who stood by him as a partner in life’s journey for 26 years. From his first marriage, Charles is the proud father of daughters Tammy (Leon) Brockett and her son Sean McEntire, who is married to Gina, and their children Brodee and Bronson. Kevin McEntire and his wife Emma. Connor Mcentire and his wife, Nicola, daughters Anberlin and Arabella. He also cherished his relationships with his sons: Randy Zamŕzla, a devoted father to five children, and Charles (Chelsea) Zamŕzla Jr., who has a special bond with his own son Collin. Additionally, his daughter Kelly Payne and her son Brandon will carry forth his legacy of love.

Charles embraced his role as a stepfather to Krystal and her two children, forming bonds that enriched his life immeasurably. His family will remember him not only for his unwavering support but for his boundless love—an enduring legacy that will live on in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Jerry and Cecilia (nee: Kinch) Zamŕzla, whose influence molded him into the man he became; siblings Jerry Zamŕzla Jr, Bobby Zamŕzla and sister Pricilla Behnke. Their memory will forever be entwined with his spirit.

As we reflect on the life of Charles, we celebrate a man whose life was marked by service, family, and love. He leaves behind a beautiful tapestry of memories, woven through the lives he touched and the love he shared, ensuring that his spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who loved him.
