Charles Paul Andrew Zamŕzla

Charles Paul Andrew Zamŕzla, a devoted husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, in Concord Twp. He was born on August 19, 1948, in Mayfield, and led a life full of passion and purpose. After dedicating 25 years to his career as a Project Manager and Plumber at Active Plumbing, Charles retired, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and commitment to excellence.

Charles' life was marked by his service in the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1972 during the Vietnam conflict. His time in the military shaped him, instilling a deep sense of duty and honor that he carried throughout his life. He built not only pipes and systems but also strong connections with those around him.

Beyond his professional achievements, Charles was known for his generous spirit. He dedicated his time to Habitat for Humanity, helping to build homes for those in need, as well as being actively involved with his church. His heart was as big as his smile, and his greatest joy came from spending precious moments with his family.

He was an avid sports enthusiast, particularly enjoying NASCAR and football. Great debates over game scores and race standings often filled family gatherings, where laughter and love reigned supreme.

Charles is survived by his loving spouse, Lesia (Mumau) Zamŕzla. He cherished his daughters from his first marriage, Tammy Zamrzla Capps, who brought three wonderful children and four grandchildren into his life, and Kelly Payne, who blessed him with a son whom he adored. From his second marriage, he is survived by his sons, Randy Zamrzla and his six children, along with Charles Zamrzla Jr. and his beloved son. Charles also embraced his role as a stepfather to Krystal, who has two children, adding more joy to his expanding family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Cecilia (nee: Kinch) Zamŕzla, who were proud of the man he became and the legacy he left behind.

As we reflect on the life of Charles Paul Andrew Zamŕzla, we remember a kind, compassionate man whose impact was felt by all who knew him. He leaves behind not just a family that loves him dearly but a community that will always cherish his memory and be inspired by his acts of kindness.
