Pictures allow us to relive memories. They show beautiful moments in time that we can reflect on and make us wish we could turn back time. Pictures tell a story. Pictures show a journey. And Brad’s pictures? They show quite a ride.
His pictures show a happy child who his parents absolutely adored. They show his special bond with his sister, enjoying life and exploring during the many vacations they took as a family. They also show the crazy amount of animals we had through the years. And to each one, Brad had an extremely close bond. His pictures show many family visits with Aunts, Uncles, and cousins who quickly became like additional siblings. His pictures show his love for his niece and nephew. Being Uncle Brad was one of his favorite jobs in life. Then his pictures show his beautiful baby girl, Courtney. They show happy he was to have made such a beautiful human and how life would get to be so much more rewarding. They show him making a friend who later became his best friend, who later became his wife. This new chapter with the love of his life so completely evident in the smile that reflects back at us.
What pictures don’t show is his pain. His struggles with addiction. The insurmountable pain he felt with the loss of many friends and family through the years. They don’t show how much he tried to turn onto the right path. They don’t show how many battles he fought throughout the years just to lose this very last time.
We ask that you remember Brads life as it was in the pictures. Remember the gentle, kind, beautiful soul he had. Remember his love that he gave you. Remember his journey. And remember the impact he made on your life.
Brad gave more to this earth than people can do in 50 lifetimes. His life was cut short October 5th but don’t focus on that date. Focus on June 8th. That’s the date a forever beautiful human was brought into this world for you to later meet and be thankful you were part of his world.
