Armand Paul Felici, a gentle soul whose warm smile and loving nature touched the lives of many, passed away on May 13, 2026, in Chardon, Ohio. Born on September 1, 1929, in East Cleveland, Ohio, Armand lived a life marked by devotion, service, and kindness that will forever be cherished by those who knew him.
Armand’s early years were characterized by dedication and commitment, qualities that extended into his military service. He honorably served in the United States Army from March 5, 1953, to February 16, 1955, proudly standing with the 71st Reconnaissance Company of the 53rd Infantry Regiment. His time in uniform reflected his steadfast resolve and his willingness to serve something greater than himself.
Following his military service, Armand distinguished himself professionally at the Geauga County Engineer's Office, where his work contributed to the betterment of his community. Yet beyond his career, it was his personal life that revealed the depth of his character. He was a loving and caring step-father, uncle, and friend — roles in which he invested an immeasurable amount of warmth and compassion.
One of Armand’s proudest moments came on April 25, 1964, when he married Doris Morgan at Pilgrim Christian Church in Chardon. Their union defined years filled with love and partnership. Though Doris M. (nee Morgan) Felici preceded him in death in 2017, his commitment to family lived on through his surviving loved ones.
He is lovingly remembered by his step-sons, William F. Sattelmeyer of Washington State and Lee (Carol) Sattelmeyer of Shaker Heights, as well as four step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren who carry forward his legacy of love. His presence also lives on in the hearts of his nieces Patricia, Josephine, and Sharon; nephews Frank and Anthony; and twelve great nieces and nephews. These family members, together with friends, affectionately recall Armand as a man of gentle spirit and enduring warmth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Alessandra (nee DePaolis) Felici; his beloved wife, Doris; his brother Albert Felici; his sisters Clara Lacurto and Marcella Mascia; and his niece Sandra.
Visitation to honor Armand’s life will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at the Potti & Marc F. Burr Funeral Homes in Painesville, Ohio. The times are from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Those wishing to pay their respects may also attend the graveside service on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
Armand Paul Felici’s memory is a beacon of gentle kindness and steadfast love, qualities that will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. As family and friends gather to celebrate his life, they hold close the warmth of his smile and the tenderness of his spirit, forever grateful for the time shared and the love given so freely.
