Alma G. (nee: Bryner) Fisher, age 87 of Madison passed away July 20, 2021 at UG Geauga Medical Center. Born Feb. 16, 1934 in Dunbar, PA to Plummer and Hilda (nee: Tissue) Bryner, she had been a longtime Eastlake resident before moving to Madison 33 years ago. Alma was very active in the VFW Post 8548 of Madison Ladies Auxiliary, being past president of the LGCC numerous times and president of the 7th District Auxiliary. She volunteered at the Madison Senior Center, Madison Foodbank as well as being a voting poll worker for Madison. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 66 years Thomas A. Fisher of Madison; children Patricia Fisher of Madison, Ed (Julie) Fisher of Willoughby and Terry (Kelly) Fisher of New Castle, PA; grandchildren Timothy Fisher of Wickliffe, Shannon (Steven) Gibson of Palm Bay, FL, & T.J. (Kimberly) Fisher of Colorado Springs, CO; great-grandchildren Carson, Olivia & Riley Fisher of Colorado Springs, CO; siblings Kathleen (Robert) Reeves of Concord, Marie Scarlett of Mentor, Sharon (Stan) Jarzynka-Lake of Gunnersville, AL & Red Bryner of Vanderbilt; numerous extended family & special friend and neighbor Cheryl Mauric. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Ray, Paul & Arthur Bryner & Carolyn Lear. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 31 at 2pm at the Potti & Marc F.
