Thomas P. Bildstein

Thomas P. Bildstein Sr, age 66 of Painesville passed away Dec. 22, 2020 at the Cleveland Clinic. Born Nov. 11, 1954 in Cleveland to Leonard “Butch” and Kathleen (nee: McNamara) Bildstein, he had been a lifelong area resident after returning from serving our country with the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Tom was a brick layer for Local 5. Tom was the type of guy everyone loved to be around. He will be missed deeply by his children, his grandchildren, his brothers and the entire family. Rest easy. He is survived by his children Erin Bildstein of Cleveland and Thomas (Katie) Bildstein Jr of Willowick; grandchildren Taylor, Tommy, and Peyton; siblings Leonard “Mike” Bildstein of Geneva, Patrick (Sunshine) Bildstein of Cleveland, William “Billy” (Brenda) Bildstein of Geneva and sister-in-law Donna Bildstein of Painesville and longtime girlfriend Joyce Baglione. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings John and Paul. A memorial service will be held at 4pm on Saturday, Dec. 26 2020 at the Potti & Marc F. Burr Funeral Homes 2726 Hubbard Road, Madison. A visitation will be held from 2-4pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Social distancing and masks are REQUIRED.
