Sherri L. Liggett

Sherri L. (nee: Buchs) Liggett, age 73, of Mentor Headlands passed away May 20, 2022 at Tripoint Medical Center in Concord. Born July 31, 1948 in Painesville to Elmer and Louise (nee: Borden) Buchs, she had been a lifelong area resident. Sherri was a homemaker who loved doting on her family. Survivors include her husband of 55 years Ronald Liggett of Mentor Headlands; children Christ Liggett of Mentor Headlands and Lisa Liggett of Parma; grandchildren Jon, Tyler & Cole Liggett and Zachary, Dustin, Cody & Logan Anderson; great-grandchildren Xavier Liggett, Colton Anderson and a little girl on the way; siblings Rex (Diane) Buchs of Painesville, Kevin Buchs of Fairport Harbor and Eric Buchs of Grand River. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Gary Buchs. Friends may gather to remember the life of Sherry on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 2-4pm at the Potti & Marc F. Burr Funeral Home 1009 Mentor Ave, Painesville. A private inurnment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
