FHS marching band. She later moved to Fairview Park in 1977 with her husband Bill and
children. She moved back to Fairport Harbor in 1989 to care for her parents in their family
home until they passed. She then cared for her husband during his Alzheimer’s illness and
helped raise her grandchildren. She remained in Fairport until her death.
Pat was employed at the Industrial Rayon Corporation in Painesville and later retired from
working in the front office at Phoenix Dye Works in Cleveland where she and her husband
made many lifelong friends.
Pat loved the Lord and was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church. She volunteered with
the Vacation Bible School and Sunday School programs and also helped Fairport Schools
volunteering with the PTO, Marching Band and FHS Theater. She was a beautiful and gifted
singer and once auditioned for the “Gene Carroll Show” when she was 16 years old. She
passed her musical gift on to many of her children and grandchildren. She was a caregiver her
