Mary Moore

Mary Theresa (Mikan) Moore 75 of Cleveland passed away May 31st 2021. She was born September 6 1945 in Latrobe Pennsylvania. Fresh out of nursing school she married her high school sweetheart Allen Moore and moved to Cleveland to live in a big city. She started working as an ER nurse for the Cleveland Clinic and furthered her career to eventually become the head nurse of the OB/GYN department for the next 40 years. She loved to garden and crochet and always looked forward to baking holiday cookies every year with our neighbor and close family friend. She was an amazing cook and mother. She was married to her husband Allen for 55 years.
She is survived by her children Patrick (Kara) Moore, Andrew (Carla) Moore, Maureen Moore, Margaret Moore and her six grandchildren. A memorial mass will be held on June 11 at 10:30am at Church of the Gesu 2470 Miramar Blvd, University Heights, OH 44118.
