Marguerite H. Cerankosky Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Marguerite “Margie” H. (née Forte) Cerankosky, age 89 of Hambden Twp, went home to be with the Lord after a long illness, peacefully at home. Born May 24, 1932, in Cleveland to V. James and Vincenzina (née Meletti) Forte she was a longtime resident of Richmond Heights before moving to Hambden Twp 12 years ago. She was the loving spouse of 65 years of Charles E. Cerankosky; loving and devoted mother of Charles Jr, (Debbie, née Koehler), Robert (Lisa, née Nissman) and Karen Dauenhauer (Mike); loving grandmother of Charles III, (Allie), Brittany Williams (Pierre), Katelyn, Selene, Brad, Gabriel and Zachary; great grandmother of four, Sofie, Raine, Rhodes, and Otis. She was preceded in death by siblings Mary, Jerome, Theresa, Italo (killed in action WW II), Evelyn, and James. The family thanks our loving caregivers Kathy, Wendy and Kim and the Mentor team of Hospice of the Western Reserve. A funeral service will be at 11am on Monday, March 21 at New Testament Baptist Church 12199 Claridon Troy Rd, Chardon (Claridon Twp) with burial to follow at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Sunday, March 20, 2022, at the Potti & Marc F. Burr Funeral Home (located within DeJohn Funeral Home) 126 South Street, Chardon, OH 44024.
