Julius Edward Bihary, age 95 of Chardon passed away Nov. 17, 2021 at his home. Born Aug. 11, 1926 in Fairport Harbor to John and Julia (nee: Gyure) Bihary, he had been a lifelong area resident. Ed served in the US Navy at the end of WWII. Upon returning home from the war, he married Genevieve Tomak. Ed was a Final Quality Control Inspector for the Terex Road Machinery Company. Survivors include his children Dennis (Nancy) Bihary of Chardon, and Susan (Mark) Zarachowicz of Chardon; grandchildren Sharon (Darin) Gesse of Farmington Hills, Michigan, Keith (Shirley) Bihary of Madison, Stephen (Abigail) Bihary of Bowling Green, Jill Zarachowicz Nelson of Hiram, Diane (Brian) Riley of Farmington Hills, Michigan, Audrey Zarachowicz of Chardon, Adam (Valerie) Bihary of Wheaton, Illinois; great-grandchildren Thomas, Alexander and Jack Bihary of Madison, Megan and Madilen Gesse of Farmington Hills, Michigan, Analisa, Avalyn and Adeline Bihary of Bowling Green, Aiden Nelson of Hiram, Anna, Kyle, Paul and Cara Riley of Farmington Hills, Michigan, Mila, Lilliana and Samuel Bihary of Wheaton, Illinois and brother Robert Bihary of Oviedo, FL and companion Grace Schupp of Concord. He was preceded in death by his parents; spouse Genevieve “Jenny” (nee: Tomak) Bihary; siblings Julia Sabo, John Bihary & Joseph Bihary. A private family burial to take place at Chardon Municipal Cemetery. Donations suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve or the Hungarian Reformed Church in Fairport Harbor.
