Joseph A. Ringler, age 57 of Ashtabula passed away Dec. 2, 2019 at his home. Born Sept. 10, 1962 in Ashtabula to Herbert & Yolanda (nee: Como) Ringler Sr., he had been a lifelong area resident. Joe worked for Ashcraft Industries in packaging and assembly. “JR” loved bowling at Jefferson Lanes. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan, watching the Indians, Browns and Cavs. Survivors include his siblings Shirley (Chip) Noe of Ashtabula, David (Karen) of Kingsville, Diana (Scott) Pinney of Ashtabula, Jeannie of Ashtabula, Judy of Ashtabula, Nancy (Lenny) King of Ashtabula and Roger (Toni) of Conneaut; many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Herbert Jr. and niece Tasia Hinson. A funeral service will be held at 12pm on Friday, Dec. 6, 2019 at the Potti Funeral Home, 1329 Lake Avenue Ashtabula, OH 44004 with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
