Joseph Isaac Cruz Avalos

Joseph I. Cruz Avalos passed away suddenly Sept. 28, 2022 near his home in Painesville. Born April 23, 2012 in Concord Twp. to Luiz Cruz and Gabriela Avalos, he had been a lifelong area resident. Jojo was an active young man who loved playing with his friends, playing soccer and watching Cristiano Ronaldo, whom he idolized. He is survived by his parents Louis Cruz of Painesville and Gabriela (Herzong) Avalos of Painesville; siblings Jaden, Leah, Nataly, Yareni, Jessica & Carla; many aunts, uncles, extended family and friends. A funeral mass will be Monday, Oct. 3, 2022 at 8pm at St. Mary Church in Painesville. Burial will be 11:30am on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022 at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville. Calling hours will be from 4-7pm on Monday at the Potti & Marc F. Burr Funeral Homes of Painesville 1009 Mentor Ave, Painesville.
