Jeannine Louise Rovansek (nee Sadowsky), age 69 of Mentor, passed away August 31, 2021 at Tripoint Medical Center. She left this Earth surrounded by the love of her husband of 47 years and all 6 of her children, pain-free, peacefully and in her own time. We played her favorite oldies, told her why we were thankful for her, reminisced about the good old days and assured her it was ok to let go after she fought her poor health for many years. She was the rock of her family; she was well-known for her beauty, kindness and love for her family. She had a way of making everyone who came her way feel like one of her own. In her prime, she loved gardening in the sun, enjoying her pool and spending time with her family, dogs and granddogs- Peyton, Davin, Bayleigh, Kyzer and Kane. Jeannine was born April 11, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio to Michael “Mickey” and Virginia (nee Medved) Sadowsky. She is survived by her husband Jerry, children Michael (Melanie) Rovansek of Mentor, Nick (Ashley) Rovansek of Mentor and Ashley (Davor) Jozic of Mentor; grandchildren Cy, Rylan, Tucker and Celia, as well as twin boys Drake & Crew that are on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents and angel grandson Mateas Jozic. She will be cremated, family and friends may gather for a celebration of life on Monday September 6, 2021 from 12-3:30, ending with a small prayer service at the Potti & Marc F. Burr Funeral Home, 1009 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A memorial mass will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of gifts, the family recommends donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Jeannine’s name. Obituary, online condolences and memorial gifts available at
