Janet M. Noponen

Janet M. (nee: Anderson) Noponen, age 85 of Painesville passed away July 1, 2022 at Altercare of Mentor. Born April 28, 1937, in Webster Springs, WV to Floyd and Bessie (nee: Lough) Anderson, she had been a longtime area resident. Janet Married Robert A. Noponen on Aug. 19, 1963, in Fairport Harbor. Survivors include her children Robert B. Noponen and Mac (Mary) Noponen; step-son Andrew Noponen; grandchildren Nick Noponen, Noah Kratochvil, Amber Noponen and Heath Noponen. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, who passed away in 2013 and sisters Pauline Underwood who passed away in 2009 and Lola Underwood who passed away in 2018. Private family services were held. Services entrusted to the Potti & Marc F. Burr Funeral Homes of Fairport Harbor, Painesville, Madison & Chardon.
