Vincent Herbert Lloyd Mcfarlane Sr

Vincent Herbert Lloyd McFarlane, Sr, age 98 of Painesville passed away Sept. 15, 2021 at Lake West Hospital. Born May 23, 1923 in Saint James Parish, Montego Bay, Jamaica to Cecil McFarlane and Lila McKenzie, he came to the USA in 1945 and eventually moved to Painesville. He worked at Diamond Shamrock and eventually Coe Manufacturing. Survivors include his children Vincent McFarlane Jr of Painesville and Marc McFarlane of Painesville; grandchildren Michael, Anton & Machiavelli McFarlane and Kenneth R Hilliard; 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Bonnie E. (nee: Harris) McFarlane, many siblings and grandson Matthew. A funeral service will be at 12pm on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021 at the Potti & Marc F. Burr Funeral Homes of Painesville, 1009 Mentor Ave., Painesville, OH 44077 with Pastor Maurice Coffee I officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
