Jack L. Pate

Jack L. Pate, age 79 of Broadview Heights passed away Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022. Born Jan. 3, 1943, in Lodi, Ohio, Jack graduated from Brecksville High School and went on to Kent State University. Jack was in the US Army Reserves and served in Vietnam. Jack retired from Broadview Heights Service Department. Survivors include his mother Ruby Valentine, Spouse Patricia Pate, Children Shelley (Allan) Bolton, John (Nicole) Pate, Kayla, Malina and Noah, Brother Don (Sally) Pate, Sister Barbara D’Avilla, Sister Dorothy Kraushaar, Sister Linda (Tony) Krampel, Granddaughter Brittany Bolton & Grandson Matthew Bolton. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his father Frank Valentine. A private family burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio Thursday, January 13 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a celebration of life service at Grace Church, Bath Ohio.
