Ken David Heald

Ken D. Heald, age 40 of Cleveland, passed away April 8, 2024, during the solar eclipse, at UH Medical Center in Cleveland. Born Oct. 16, 1983, in Claridon Twp. to Dave & Diane (nee: Lowery) Heald, he had been a resident of Hambden Twp. before moving to Cleveland 15 years ago. He worked as a cook for the Cleveland Clinic Foundation House in Cleveland. Survivors include his parents Dave & Diane Heald of Hambden Twp.; sister Desiree (Rob) Heil of Concord; nephew Christopher Heald; paternal grandfather Robert Heald and grandmother Margaret Heald. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Nicholas and Frances Lowery and paternal grandmother Sue Heald. Ken enjoyed being out in nature, cooking, music and collecting comic books. He enjoyed spending time with his family. A memorial service will be held at 7pm on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the Potti & Marc F. Burr Funeral Home (within DeJohn Funeral Home) 126 South Street, Chardon, OH. A visitation will be held from 4-7pm at the funeral home on Friday. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Hambden Twp. Cemetery.
