Donald Gene Bowman

Donald Gene Bowman, 65, of Perry, passed away on June 21, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Don was born on February 26, 1959, in Painesville, Ohio to the late Stallard and Vernie (McElyea) Bowman. He was a lifelong resident of Lake County and graduated from Riverside High School, class of 1977. He loved live music, spending time with friends, the outdoors, and napping while pretending to watch TV. Don is survived by sons Ian and Kellen, brother Eddie (Sarah), sisters Wanda (Butch) Dalrymple, Dianna Hyde, Lana Merlino, and Stella (Paul) Lengyel, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Bob, sisters Shirley Maupin, and Alice Ann Bowman, and former spouse Melissa (Bachmann). The family will receive visitors at Potti & Marc F. Burr Funeral Home, 1009 Mentor Ave, Painesville, OH 44077 on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm. Don will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville in a private family burial.
